Reflecting on Recent Events: Beer's and Beats & Bass Summit - Redemption Edition

The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of music, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments. We've had the pleasure of hosting two incredible events that brought together talented artists and enthusiastic crowds. Here's a look back at what made "Beer's and Beats" and "Bass Summit - Redemption Edition" so memorable.
Our "Beer's and Beats" night at BlackJacks Bar in Spanish Fork was a blast from start to finish. This open deck DJ night featured an impressive lineup: Tripwreck, DJ Nano Fly, Xspand, Darkness, and Kaizen. The event's highlight was the chance to go back-to-back with these talented DJs, creating a seamless flow of music and energy throughout the night.

Fast forward to "Bass Summit - Redemption Edition" at Redemption Bar and Grill in Herriman, Utah. This event was a whole new beast, marking our debut in a new city and venue. The stakes were high as we ventured into unfamiliar territory, and I was juggling a slew of new responsibilities, including managing visuals for the first time.
With the invaluable help from the homie at Solar Cycle Studios, we secured the right projector and visual mapping program. The road to mastering the program, Heavy M, was paved with YouTube tutorials and some late-night troubleshooting. My laptop, not quite built for the task, ran into overheating issues, but with some quick research and a fan at the venue, we managed to keep things cool enough to get the job done.
On event day, the real work began. Arriving early to set up the stage, the projector, and the visuals was just the start. Transporting the sound system into the venue was another challenge, given Redemption's layout with multiple sets of stairs. With no dolly to help, Dee and I hauled everything up and down manually, which, while exhausting, was ultimately worth it.
